INFORMATION
Congratulations to our 2017 HOSA State competitors: Emily Kokesh got 2nd in Epidemiology; Rachel Williss got 1st in Transcultural Healthcare, 1st in Photography, and 2nd in Veterinary Science; McKenna Sindelar got a HAT; and Nicole Bender got 1st in Medical Assisting.

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO BUY PROM TICKETS
Titan Town will stay open during all 3 lunches TODAY for you to purchase tickets.

Tickets cost $20 each and can be purchased in Titan Town. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR. A pass from the library stating you are cleared from all library fines must be brought to Titan Town and all other outstanding class fees and fines must be paid prior to purchasing your Prom tickets.

RED OUT: If you want to buy a t-shirt in support of the American Heart Association and our Titan baseball team, you can do so at Lunch, outside the cafeteria. They cost $10 and will be for sale through 3rd lunch on Friday.

VOLLEYBALL MEETING - There will be a volleyball meeting on Tuesday, April 4 for anyone interested in playing this fall. Please attend either at 7:20am or 3:30pm in D08 (Mr. Morris’) room. There is a lot of important information that will be discussed. If you have any questions, see Coach Reichmuth

COLLEGE POSSIBLE: SOPHOMORES - if you are still interested in College Possible, please attend an application meeting either today, Thursday, March 30, at 3:30 in Career Ed.

SENIOR VIDEO: We are starting to collect pictures for the senior video. If you have fun group pictures of the Class of 2017, send them to Mr. Bubba Penas at dpenas@paplv.org or bring them to room B11 on a flash drive. The deadline is Friday April 14th, 2017.

SHOW CHOIR TRY-OUTS: Would you like to be part of PL South Titanium or Titan Express show choirs? Auditions for these award winning PL South Show Choirs will be on April 6th and 7th. Audition prep classes are held on Thursday March 30, 31 and April 3, 4 and 5. Please see Mr. Brian Johnson or Mr. Dugdale in the choir office for a packet of information or if you have any questions.

RUGBY CLUB: The Papillion-LaVista United Rugby Club sponsored by USA Rugby will have a meeting for anyone wishing to learn more about playing rugby. No experience is necessary to attend. The meeting will be held after school in D06 this coming Monday, April 3rd.

KEY CLUB: The Spring Fling is Saturday, April 8th and we need your help! Sign up outside of Room B20 and come to our meeting this Friday, March 30, for more details.

SENIOR ADS
The yearbook is now accepting senior ad orders for 2017. Ads honoring individual graduates may be ordered online at yearbookforever.com or by email addressed to seniorpicspls@gmail.com. Prices are $75 for an eighth-page ad, $125 for one-quarter page, $225 for a half-page and $350 for a full page. See the attached flier for further details. Deadline is March 31.

SCIENCE CLUB: There will be a Science Club trip to Behlen Observatory the evening of Friday, March 31st. Please see Mr. Burke ASAP for details and sign-up.

CULINARY CLUB: Culinary Club will be held on Friday, March 31st. We will be having our Spring Fling! Any questions, see Mrs. Dornbusch in the Foods Room.
LOCKER ROOMS: Students are not allowed in the PE locker rooms during class time unless approved by an Administrator, a Coach, and/or Security Personnel. Please do not go to a locker room to retrieve items such as books, homework, etc.
SUMMER SCHOOL P.E. REGISTRATION: Online registration for afternoon Summer School Intro to Health and PE is open now through April 3. Instructions on how to register will be in the Guidance Office - please see Mrs. Morrow or Mrs. Mabie. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Marsh in room D14 or visit with your grade level counselor or administrator.

QUIZ BOWL: will meet on Mondays after school and Thursdays before school in room E05! Please come when you can.

ALL-METRO DRIVING SCHOOL
There will be an April class for Drivers Ed. The cost of the class is $325.
Classes meet April 12, 19, 24, 26, & May 1, 3, 8, and 10.
Classes meet in room B03 from 3:30 - 6:00 P.M.

MCC 2017 Spring Senior Day event at the South Omaha Campus! Thursday, April 6th: 9am to 11am in ITC room #120
High School Seniors are invited to attend an information session on campus to learn about; Metropolitan Community College, next steps for enrollment, financial aid, ½ priced tuition until the summer after they graduate, trades programs, Health and Public Services programs, assessment testing, and to speak with current MCC students.

IS&T High School Internships: Applications Due March 31!

Do you know a high school student that would love an opportunity to work in our labs? Here's your chance!
The University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Information Science and Technology's Summer High School Internship Program will give you an innovative, hands-on experience directly in our labs. You’ll work alongside our faculty and students in areas such as robotics, bioinformatics, software engineering, information assurance, IT innovation, iOS/Droid app development, gaming lab, and others.
Interns will learn the fun and excitement of scientific research and development activities as well as explore potential careers in IT. Our internship will give you the opportunity to learn new concepts, tools and skills, work on real research and help solve development problems.

9th Graders - Interested in Nursing

Are invited to attend the UNMC College of Nursing VITALS Summer Day Camp, June 7 & 8th. This two-day camp being hosted to introduce students to the profession of nursing, connect them to resources to help guide their future career, provide information about how to go to college including financing, and the requirements for a nursing degree, as well as to introduce the adult family member in their lives as to how they can help support their student’s goal of a college education and becoming a nurse.
Our goal is to help students learn their VITALS:
Visit a healthcare facility
Interact with UNMC faculty, staff, and students
Team with their family member and other high school students interested in nursing
Acclimate to college by learning about academics and how to succeed
Learn basic nursing skills including work in our state of the art simulation lab
Serve and learn how to give back to the community

Summer College Camps - The College of Natural and Social Sciences at UNK is offering eight different summer camps on campus this summer. Become a Vet Camp Assistant! Oxbow Animal Health is currently seeking individuals to assist in their summer educational Youth Veterinarian Camps as Camp Assistants. Assistants will be responsible for supporting camp counselors and the Camp Director in all aspects of the week-long camps and will have direct interaction with groups of children ages 8-14. Camp season runs from June to early August and there are assistant positions available in several camp locations in the Omaha and Lincoln area. Depending on availability and qualifications, individuals may have the opportunity to support one or more camp locations.
