LEO CLUB: Leo Club members PLEASE consider volunteering for ReRuns are Fun during the month of March. Come to Ms Thornton's room (E03) and sign up this week!
BLACK HISTORY MONTH: In celebration of Black History Month, the social studies department is conducting an African American Firsts Scavenger Hunt. If you wish to participate, see library staff for details. There will be a prize drawing on Wednesday, March 1, for participants who successfully complete the hunt. You can participate in the hunt until the end of February.
SENIOR QUOTES: Today is the last day to turn in a Senior Quote. It is a Six-Word Memoir is the story of your life - some part of it or all of it - told in exactly six words. See Mrs. Albracht in room B10 if you have questions.

ALL-METRO DRIVING SCHOOL
Classes for March are registering now. Class dates: March 6, 8, 22, 27, 29 and April 3, 5, and 10.
Cost : $325
Classes meet in room B03 from 3:30 - 6:00 P.M.

BLUE CARDS: The athletic office is now issuing Blue Cards to spring athletes. Please stop in ASAP to make sure you are cleared before tryouts on February 27th.

CULINARY CLUB: Culinary Club will not be held on March 10th, but will be held on March 31st instead. Please note this on your calendars for future planning. Any questions, see Mrs. Dornbusch in the Foods Room.

SENIOR ADS
The yearbook is now accepting senior ad orders for 2017. Ads honoring individual graduates may be ordered online at yearbookforever.com or by email addressed to seniorpicspls@gmail.com. Prices are $75 for an eighth-page ad, $125 for one-quarter page, $225 for a half-page and $350 for a full page. See the attached flier for further details. Deadline is March 31.

2017 UNO Housing Showcase
Greetings from the University of Nebraska at Omaha!
We are hosting our UNO Housing Showcase. It will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017. It will give students and their families the opportunity to see any or all of UNO's residence halls. In addition to the Housing Showcase, students and families are also able to visit the College of Information Science & Technology’s open house at the Peter Kiewit Institute.

“I’M FIRST” SYMPOSIUM - Wednesday, March 29, 9:00 - 2:30 p.m., University of Nebraska-Lincoln This event will allow first generation college students to gain all the resources they need to help them get into college while forming a network of people that will help. The event is open to any student in grades 9-11. Attending will qualify students to be considered for the NEBRASKA Emerging Leaders tuition scholarship, worth $2000 and renewable for four academic years. Simpson College admitted student days: Access Simpson, Friday, March 17 or Friday, April 7 - a day designed for seniors who have been accepted for admission.

Junior visit day, Friday, March 31, for a day created specifically for juniors - a great way to learn about academics, campus life and the Simpson experience.
