Seniors - Graduation Information

Thursday, May 7th - Graduation rehearsal will begin around 9:00 am. Students will be dismissed via intercom to come to the gym.  When rehearsal is over, students will head over to the stadium for a BBQ and senior video. Everything should be finished by noon.

This is a reminder that senior pranks are not allowed. We have had recent incidents that resulted in permanent property damage and others that raised school safety concerns. Because of that, pranks of any kind are not permitted.

Graduation Day!  Sunday, May 10  Please see the link below to Baxter Arena which has all the important information you will need including a parking map, food and clear bag policy.

Graduates should arrive at Baxter Arena between 4 and 4:15 pm and will meet in the Holland Ice Arena. This will be for the graduates ONLY.  Attendance will be taken by 4:30 pm. Graduates will NOT be permitted to take their phones in Baxter Arena during the ceremony - leave your phone as well as any other valuables in the Holland Ice Arena. There will be staff members watching the valuables during the ceremony. Graduates should dress nice.  It is a FORMAL ceremony.  Wear clean clothes, nice shoes, no shorts.  Once the Graduation ceremony is over, the graduates will return to the Holland Ice Arena to pick up their diplomas. Diplomas WILL NOT be mailed to the graduates. Once again ONLY graduates will be allowed in the Holland Ice Arena. 

The ceremony is expected to last around 90 minutes.

ADDITIONAL INFO TO PASS ALONG FROM BAXTER ARENA: 

  • Security Measures: All guests, graduates, and staff will enter through metal detectors, and a clear bag policy will be enforced at our public entrances (Main and North). 

  • Parking: Complimentary parking available courtesy of Papillion La Vista Community Schools in all lots surrounding Baxter Arena. There is also parking across the street in Aksarben Village.

  • Graduation “Know Before You Go” PDF for family and friends is also attached

  • Tickets:  None are needed for the event.   Seating is open.   If you would like Baxter Arena is selling suites.  Suites are $500 each and include 25 tickets, as well as the ability to pre-purchase food and beverages. Families can reserve a suite by emailing premiumseating@baxterarena.com. 
  • After the ceremony.  Please plan to meet your graduate outside for family pictures.  They clear the arena following the ceremony.
